After graduating, he began working for major automotive dealerships, gaining experience with several well-known vehicle brands. His commitment to excellence and strong leadership eventually led him to Lexus, where he worked his way up to the role of Shop Foreman, overseeing a staff of up to 22 technicians and employees.
After many years in dealership management, David made the leap of faith that many entrepreneurs face — starting his own business. With a focus on putting customers first, he founded Ultra Automotive Repair, bringing his years of experience, leadership, and dedication to service directly to the local community.
David’s approach to business goes beyond simply repairing vehicles. He believes in helping people whenever he can. At times, he has provided discounts to customers who are struggling financially. Local widows occasionally stop by the shop just to have their tire pressure or vehicle fluids checked, and David gladly performs these services at no charge. In one memorable instance during the dead of winter, he helped a woman who was living in her car and whose vehicle would not start—repairing the problem free of charge so she could safely get back on the road.
Outside of work, David enjoys spending time with his family. He likes hunting, traveling to the mountains, and sharing time with his three sons and his grandson, who remain an important part of his life.
