Eric’s entrepreneurial journey began as a young boy mowing lawns throughout his neighborhood. What started as a simple way to earn extra money eventually grew into a successful landscaping business that he later sold in 2002. Following the sale of that business, Eric worked in the financial services industry before relocating several times and eventually building a career in construction sales.
The inspiration for Riverside Pools & Hardscapes came from Eric’s own desire to install a swimming pool at his home. He recognized an opportunity to create a company that not only delivered exceptional craftsmanship but also offered an outstanding customer experience led by strong family values. Together, Eric, Aimee, and their business partners brought that vision to life, and today Riverside Pools & Hardscapes has become one of the area’s most trusted names in custom pools and outdoor living.
Now celebrating six years in business, the company has earned a reputation for quality workmanship, professionalism, and treating every customer like family. One of Eric’s greatest accomplishments has been building a team that stays together, with many employees remaining with the company for four years or more. He asks only three things of every team member: be honest, be ethical, and always do your very best. Guided by the Golden Rule and a commitment to integrity, every project is approached as if it were being completed for their own family. Giving back has always been an important part of the Persic family’s mission. Eric proudly served his community as a volunteer firefighter for 19 years, creating a lifelong passion for supporting first responders and the organizations that strengthen the local community. Eric also previously coached youth soccer and continues supporting the local soccer league where several employees and their families once played. Outside of work, Aimee and Eric cherish spending time with their family. Their 21-year-old son has become actively involved in the business, helping continue the family’s entrepreneurial legacy, while their youngest child is now competing in college soccer. After years of cheering on their children at youth and high school sporting events, they now enjoy following college football, watching NASCAR, taking road trips in their camper, and relaxing together while grilling on Eric’s favorite Wilmington Grill.
