Through years of careful planning, the support and hard work of your family, and the dedication of a dependable team of employees, you have built Jubilee Cleaning on a foundation of integrity, reliability, and quality service. Your continued commitment to your customers, employees, family, and community—including your passion for prison ministry—represents the determination, character, and spirit of a true Lee County champion business owner.
Small businesses are the backbone of an economy.
The owners of these small businesses are entrepreneurs who often take significant financial and business risks, provide employment opportunities, and contribute their creativity, determination, and ingenuity to the overall commerce of a local community, town, city, and county. Many business owners work long hours, endure challenging times, and make personal sacrifices to build businesses that serve their customers and strengthen their communities.
Our research team at Expansion Support Services, owners of the County Advisory Board, identified Jubilee Cleaning Service LLC as a business that is appreciated by its customers and provides valuable services throughout Lee County and the surrounding area.
The story behind Jubilee Cleaning is one of service, preparation, family, and commitment. Bobby Smith served our country for 20 years in the United States Air Force. Rather than waiting until retirement to decide what would come next, Bobby spent the final three years of his military career carefully planning for the transition into business ownership. Three months before retiring from the Air Force, he put that preparation into action and began building Jubilee Cleaning.
Bobby was able to take many of the skills developed throughout his military career, including years of experience as a recruiter, and apply them to entrepreneurship. Leadership, communication, discipline, organization, and the ability to work effectively with people all became valuable tools as he moved from serving his country to serving customers and building a business.
Jubilee Cleaning has also been a true family effort. Bobby, his wife, and their teenage children were all willing to roll up their sleeves and perform the work necessary to help the company grow. That willingness to work together and lead by example helped establish the standards that Bobby continues to value today.
As the business has grown, Bobby credits having great employees and good people who consistently show up and put their best foot forward as an important part of Jubilee Cleaning’s continued success. That focus on dependable people fits the reputation the company has built for reliability, honesty, and integrity, with a significant portion of its business coming from referrals and customers who continue using Jubilee Cleaning year after year.
Today, Jubilee Cleaning is a licensed and insured, locally owned and operated cleaning company serving Lee and Chambers counties. The company provides janitorial and cleaning services for commercial, residential, and industrial customers, including offices and commercial spaces, factories, warehouses, churches, fitness and sports complexes, retail businesses, medical and dental offices, salons, and residential communities. Jubilee Cleaning also provides residential window and carpet cleaning services.
Service to others extends well beyond Bobby’s business and military career. When he is not working, prison ministry is his number-one passion and pastime. Bobby gives his time to ministering to incarcerated individuals and also uses his musical talents by singing and playing guitar as part of that outreach. It is another reflection of a life centered around service, faith, and making a positive impact on others.
Jubilee Cleaning also continues to recognize those who have served by offering a 10% military discount.
The company’s continued success speaks to the dedication and ability of Bobby Smith, his family, employees, and team to overcome the many obstacles and challenges that are part and parcel of business ownership.
We take this moment to acknowledge and thank Bobby Smith for his 20 years of service to our country, his commitment to serving others, and the past, present, and future contributions that Jubilee Cleaning Service LLC and its staff have made and will continue to make throughout Lee County.
