Allen is from West Virginia, studied mechanical engineering at the University of West Virginia and met his wife at the University of West Virginia. He relocated to Florida for work opportunities, but veered off into business ownership when he established the Pelican Car Wash.

Allen Jadidien has an eye for what consumers want. Pelican started as a car wash but is really a car care center as they also do oil changes, upholstery cleaning, windshield repair, headlight de-oxidization, auto detailing, mechanical work, and radio installation.
