Dr. Abdella graduated from Logan University in Chesterfield, Missouri. During this time he was chosen to be a part of a multidisciplinary team treating veterans at the VA Medical Center – Jefferson Barracks. This was both a privilege and a dream come true because as a Senior Intern he was able to help patients dealing with chronic pain, which is Dr. Abdella’s true passion.
He was also a Clinical Preceptor at Affinia Healthcare where he treated underinsured and underprivileged patients. Dr. Abdella published research using data he compiled from his experience at Affinia. As a student he also founded a non-profit that is geared towards providing care for underserved communities. He has received training in musculoskeletal ultrasound and has extensive experience treating No Fault and Workers Comp patients.
When he isn’t working, Dr. Abdella enjoys spending quality time with his wife, daughters, and three dogs. Most of all he enjoys anything related to the underwater world and maintains two salt water tanks filled with coral, fish, and even an octopus named Damian!
Dr. Maye graduated from Logan University in Chesterfield, Missouri. Her passion is to enhance the lives of people through healthcare and education. At a young age, Dr. Maye felt a strong urge to help people and her main focus is health literacy for everyone. Her personal philosophy is health is wealth and education is the key to life.
Throughout her career she has received training in pediatrics, prenatal and postpartum care, and is Webster trained. She also has extensive experience in nutrition and treating seniors. She completed her clinical training at Affinia Healthcare in St. Louis Missouri where she cared for and managed the health of many underprivileged and chronic pain patients. She continues to give back to the community by volunteering with different non-profits. One non-profit that Dr. Maye is very passionate about is Birth and Beyond Resources. This organization has a MamaMoon program where they send volunteers to visit new mothers to ensure they are supported.
When she isn’t practicing or volunteering, she enjoys exploring life with her four beautiful daughters, her husband and their 3 dogs. She also enjoys crafting, exercising, hiking and traveling to different parts of the world. The team at Expansion Support Services, owners of the County Advisory Board, encourages consumers to shop local whenever possible!
