Elizabeth Edwards is one of those rare individuals that was actually born and raised locally, Sarasota. Dr. Elizabeth Edwards performed her undergraduate studies at the University of Florida, where she received her degree in Exercise and Sport Science.

She graduated with her doctorate from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine in New York City. She completed a 3 year Reconstructive Foot and Ankle Surgical Residency at JFK Medical Center in Atlantis, Florida. She is now Board Certified with the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons (ACFAS).

Foot and Ankle Physicians is owned and operated by Elizabeth Edwards and her partner/husband Dr. Dustin Edwards. Having owner operated experts, like Elizabeth Edwards, providing healthcare services is an asset to Clearwater and Pinellas County, Florida. Foot and Ankle Physicians opened its doors 30 years ago, Dr. Edwards startede working at the practice 7 years ago and became one of the owners 1 1/2 years ago.

Dr. Edwards excels in the field of Podiatry, focusing on diabetics, sports injuries, and geriatrics. She loves helping people feel better and especially assisting them to get out of pain.

Dr. Edwards does volunteer work with the Free Clinic here in the office, where she services patients with financial situations. Dr. Edwards also does mentoring and job shadowing with students from local podiatry schools and people with interests in the area.
