Huey Electric llc
is hereby recognized as a
TOP GUN Professional Business!
Humberto Nieves, you are considered a champion business owner for building and managing Huey Electric llc, a electrician company in Essex County.
Small businesses are the backbone of an economy.
The owners of these small businesses are entrepreneurs who often take significant financial and business risks, provide employment opportunities, and bring their creativity, skill, and ingenuity to the overall commerce of a local community, town, city, and county. Many business owners work long hours, endure challenging times, make personal sacrifices, and still find ways to give back to the communities that support them.
Our research team at Expansion Support Services, owners of the County Advisory Board, identified Huey Electric LLC as a locally owned business that is appreciated by its customers and provides valuable electrical services to homeowners and businesses throughout Essex County and surrounding areas of North and Central New Jersey.
The story behind Huey Electric LLC is one of faith, perseverance, hard work, and refusing to give up when circumstances were difficult. Owner Humberto “Huey” Nieves came from tough beginnings but found a way forward through his faith in God, determination, and commitment to building a better future for himself and his family. Today, that perseverance is reflected in a professional electrical company built around three principles Huey emphasizes in his business: safety, craftsmanship, and honesty.
With more than 15 years of experience in the electrical trade, Huey and his team provide residential, commercial, and industrial electrical services. Their capabilities include electrical repairs and wiring, lighting installations, panel and service upgrades, generator installation, EV charger installation, electrical safety work, and other electrical solutions for homes and businesses.
What helps distinguish Huey Electric LLC is the personal accountability Humberto brings to his work. He doesn’t simply send a crew to a customer’s property and hope the work meets his expectations. As the owner, Huey makes it a priority to be personally involved and present on job sites, working alongside and overseeing his technicians to ensure each project meets the high standards he has established for his company. His website reinforces that commitment by highlighting owner-on-site quality oversight, licensed electricians, residential inspection certifications, and a one-year workmanship warranty.
That hands-on approach comes from something deeper: Huey genuinely cares about the people who trust his company with their homes and businesses. His philosophy is centered on honest work, treating customers with respect, communicating clearly, showing up when promised, and recommending what a customer actually needs rather than unnecessary work.
His commitment to service also extends beyond his customers. Huey Electric LLC supports its community through involvement with local churches and organizations. Humberto and his family are active in their church, and the company supports MCC Ministries through regular donations. Huey is also a member of the Essex County Contractors Association, maintaining strong ties to the local professional community.
Behind the business is also a dedicated family man. When Humberto isn’t working or volunteering his time, one of his greatest priorities is spending quality time with his wife and four children. His family has much to celebrate, including his wife’s recent accomplishment of becoming a nurse. The same values of faith, responsibility, perseverance, and service that are important to the Nieves family can also be seen in the way Humberto approaches his company and his customers.
We take this moment to acknowledge and thank Humberto Nieves for the past, present, and future contributions that Huey Electric LLC and its staff have made and will continue to make throughout Essex County, New Jersey.
