James Floyd is the owner and operator of Grindhouse Coffee, headquartered in Clearwater, FL. This is a highly regarded restaurant company in Pinellas County.
James Floyd got his start in the industry 30 years ago. As a younger man, James worked for a local pizza shop. Since that time James has grown to brand major corporations. In 2014 James partnered with Bill La Gamba, and Jason Mitow, and after opening Surf Side Tap House in Clearwater Beach, in 2016 they opened Grindhouse Coffee in downtown Clearwater.
Since that time Grindhouse Coffee has been a local hot-spot for the downtown Clearwater crowd. What makes Grindhouse Coffee different from other establishments in their industry is the authentic Coffee House experience. Grindhouse Coffee prides themselves in proving locally sourced coffee and specialty beverages, and they make their own ice-cream in-house.
James Floyd grew up in in South Tampa and enjoys the hobbies of fishing and golf. James is a supporter of our local teams, Buccaneers, The Rays and The Lightning. In 2016 Grindhouse Coffee won food awards from Clearwater Regional Chamber of Commerce and DMCA.
