Inspired by a lifelong passion for animals that began with his mother, Jeff saw an opportunity to combine that passion with the acreage he owned and create something special for pet owners in the community. Determined to bring his vision to life, he personally handled much of the construction and development of the facility himself, investing not only his time and resources but also his heart into creating a place where pets could be cared for like family.
Jeff and Danny’s love for animals is reflected in every aspect of Lexie’s Place. The business operates seven days a week because they are deeply committed to the well-being of the pets entrusted to their care. To them, their clients are family, and so are the pets they serve.
Their dedication extends far beyond the services they provide. Jeff and Danny have built Lexie’s Place around the belief that exceptional customer service means doing whatever they reasonably can to make life easier for both pets and their owners. They regularly go above and beyond traditional boarding services by providing customized solutions tailored to the unique needs of their clients. This can include transporting pets to and from veterinarians, groomers, and other appointments, as well as coordinating pick-up and drop-off services between the kennel and a client’s home when needed. Their willingness to accommodate special requests and create personalized solutions has earned them the trust and appreciation of many pet owners throughout the community.
One example involved a client who suffered the devastating loss of immediate family members and urgently needed a safe place for their dog late at night after normal business hours. After hearing the client’s story, Jeff not only accommodated the after-hours drop-off but also refused payment, telling the client that the stay was “on the house.” It was simply the right thing to do.
Giving back is a core value at Lexie’s Place. Whether it is hosting customer appreciation and give-back events, supporting members of the community who are facing hardship, or helping people whenever they can, Jeff and Danny are always looking for ways to make a positive difference in the lives of others.
That commitment to helping people also extends to their employees. One former employee, who had experienced significant personal struggles and setbacks in life, remained in contact with Jeff and Danny after leaving the company. Through encouragement, guidance, and genuine support, they helped him regain confidence and direction. Today, he has successfully turned his life around and is thriving, something that brings Jeff and Danny great pride.
Outside of the business, Jeff enjoys the outdoors, trail riding, dirt biking, and spending time with friends pursuing new adventures. Danny shares a love of the outdoors as well and enjoys hiking in the mountains whenever time allows. Despite their busy schedules, they continue to dedicate themselves to the business and the animals they care for because they genuinely love what they do.

They are built on passion, hard work, compassion, and a genuine desire to make a difference in the lives of others.
