Jennifer Byrd is the owner and operator of Aloha To Go, headquartered in Indian Shores, Pinellas County, Florida.

Jen was born and raised in Hawaii. Home grown in Hawaii, Jen landed in the Tampa Bay Area via the Coast Guard for her husband’s final tour.

After teaching school for years, Jennifer chose to become a restaurateur.

Aloha to Go started as a food truck 7 years ago. Aloha to Go started in 2011 as a little trailer but it soon took on a life of its own. The trailer grew into a truck, and in 2013 Jen left her teaching job to be a full time trucker.The food trucks are still rolling and she has also established a brick and mortar restaurant.

Aloha to Go brings the spirit of Hawaii to the Gulf Coast with Hawaiian dishes (and an award winning Cuban).  Jen loves bringing the Aloha Spirt to the Tampa Bay Area. Aloha mean so much more than “hello” or “goodbye”. It also means “joyfully sharing life”. It is with that passion that Jen welcomes all her guest as Ohana, or family. Jen and her team use their services to support the community through fundraisers and events with local schools. They present multi-cultural experiences in cuisine for young people. The Aloha to Go staff have done activities that supporters of the Veteran’s Administration.

Business owners take risks and often work long, exhaustive hours to service their clients. There are freedoms in owning a business, but these freedoms come at a cost. Rarely acknowledged are business owners like Jennifer Byrd that employ people, accepting accountability ensuring their staff are paid continuously.
