Mark Woodruff is the owner and operator of Made, a restaurant headquartered in Sarasota, FL. This is a highly regarded restaurant company in Sarasota County.
Mark was trained in the restaurant industry at the Culinary School of America in Hyde Park, NY. He is a 3rd generation restaurateur, starting his career at the age of 9, assisting his father and stepmother.
When it comes to providing expert restaurant services, nothing takes the place of experience. Mark opened Made in 2013.
One of Made’s goals is to provide their Sarasota County customers with locally sourced, sustainable ingredients. They are meat forward, but offer a wide variety for vegans and vegetarians alike. They take it seriously when they say no GMOs or antibiotics are in the fare they offer. They also don’t use over-fished or over-farmed fish at Made.
Made has won several awards including the 2016 Certificate of Excellence from Tripadvisor and the Diner’s Choice Award in 2017. They are also a member of the Sarasota Originals.
In addition to running a successful restaurant business, Mark supports the Police Association and multiple food associations including the Monterey Bay Aquarium, the Monterey Bay Seafood Watch, and Mote Marine. Made was also featured on the Travel Channel Food Paradise Series. He also welcomed a newborn son to his family this year.
He likens Made to the TV show Cheers, where everyone is welcome. Regulars include singles, families, business get-togethers, etc..
