She immediately recognized my boyfriend’s name and acknowledged that he’s a frequent customer, which gave me peace of mind (I was afraid I might have gone to the wrong Acme Cleaners). I was told that the dry cleaning will be ready Monday. The bf says they’re always on time. I was impressed by the speedy turnaround! And if that’s not enough of an incentive, their turnaround time is fantastic. If you get your items in by 10am, and ask for a rush, they will get it cleaned by 5pm that day and stay open until 7pm. If you miss the 10am cutoff, you will be guaranteed your clothes the following day by 5pm. That’s a pretty great feat considering the amount of apparel that passes through their doors. They sell the newspaper, sometimes have fresh popcorn and also offer free mini-lint rollers. Nice little amenities that keep their customers coming back.”
