Rob Knickerbocker is the owner and operator of Kellen’s Florist, headquartered in Hobart, Lake County, Indiana.

When it comes to services that touch the public, such as florists, there is nothing that takes the place of experience. Kellen’s opened its doors for business in 1937, 80+ years ago.  In addition to his formal training at the American Institute of Floral Design, the “Kellen Way” has been passed on from previous owners. Kellen’s Florist is a member of the Hobart Chamber of Commerce and Rob is an active participant in the Hobart Industrial Economic Development Corporation which helps recruit other enterprises to Hobart.

Rob volunteers with the local school’s booster clubs, does mentoring inside the schools, does floral demonstrations, and has students work in the shop to get experience.
