When Sean’s father decided that he wanted to retire from homebuilding and focus exclusively on making cabinets, Sean opened a woodworking shop to help support his father’s dream. Although his father passed away in 2022, his spirit, lessons, and commitment to quality craftsmanship remain alive and strong within the Chevalier family and Carolina Woodworks LLC.
That special father-and-son tradition is now continuing into another generation. Just as Sean once accompanied his father to work, Sean’s son is now learning by spending time in the shop and working alongside his dad. While the family is committed to growing the business, family time remains at the forefront of everything Sean and Alexis do. They enjoy spending time with their two children, staying active outdoors, and appreciating the peaceful beach lifestyle whenever possible.
