Ledge’s Auto Body
is hereby recognized as a
TOP GUN Professional Business!
Shanon O’brien, you are considered a champion business owner for building and managing Ledge’s Auto Body, an autobody company in Eaton County.
Small businesses are the backbone of an economy.
The owners of these small businesses are entrepreneurs who often take significant financial and business risks, create employment opportunities, and contribute their creativity, innovation, and determination to the economic vitality of their local communities. Many business owners work long hours, overcome difficult challenges, and make personal sacrifices to build successful companies that serve their neighbors.
Our research team at Expansion Support Services, owners of the County Advisory Board, identified Ledge’s Auto Body as a business that is appreciated by its customers and provides valuable auto body and collision repair services throughout Eaton County.
The company’s continued success speaks to the dedication, experience, and perseverance of Shanon O’Brien, a proud third-generation auto body professional whose knowledge and work ethic have been passed down through three generations of his family. Long before opening his own business, Shanon was learning the trade from both his grandfather and his father, gaining invaluable experience that cannot be taught in a classroom. His grandfather helped establish the family’s reputation for quality craftsmanship, while his father expanded upon those principles as both an accomplished auto body technician and successful business owner. Together, they instilled in Shanon the importance of honesty, quality workmanship, and treating every customer with respect.
At just 12 years old, Shanon began helping his father around the family shop, where he learned the fundamentals of collision repair by watching, listening, and working alongside experienced craftsmen. Following graduation from high school, he spent nearly 12 years further developing his skills while working for respected independent collision repair shops and an automotive dealership. Those experiences allowed him to see a variety of repair techniques, customer service philosophies, and business operations before eventually partnering with his father in the family business.
Over the years, Shanon has built upon the strong foundation established by his grandfather and father while continuing to refine his own approach. By observing other successful professionals throughout his career, he learned not only the practices that consistently produce exceptional repairs and satisfied customers, but also the mistakes that can prevent a business from reaching its full potential. Today, those lessons continue to shape the culture and reputation of Ledge’s Auto Body.
Beyond the business, Shanon believes in giving back to the community that has supported him over the years. Ledge’s Auto Body proudly sponsors local car shows and youth sports programs, helping strengthen community involvement and encouraging future generations. Shanon also supports the local Chamber of Commerce and enjoys spending quality time with his family whenever possible.
We take this moment to acknowledge and thank Shanon O’Brien for the past, present, and future contributions that Ledge’s Auto Body and its staff have made and will continue to make in Eaton County.
