Stephen Greenfield is one of the owners and operators of Allura Fine Jewelers, headquartered in Highland Park, Lake County, Illinois, where Mr. Greenfield attended and graduated from high school.
When it comes to fine jewelry, there is nothing that takes the place of passion and experience. Stephen started is a 3rd generation jeweler. Mr. Greenfield began working in the family business as a child, but started full time after finishing College in 1967 and attending the Gemological Institute of America. Mr. Greenfield earned degrees from the GIA, is a Gemologist and an expert in Diamonds, Colored Stones, Pearls, Design and Appraisals.
Mr. Greenfield’s passion is estate and antique jewelry and he is considered in the industry as an expert in Georgian, Victorian and Art Deco jewelry.
Stephen has been an active participant in Chicago’s jewelry scene and in 2015 partnered up with two other renown Chicago base jewelers Irv Jacobson and Henry Lipson to form Allure based out of Highland Park.
Combining their talents and resources, this trio of the finest jewelers in the world enabled each to offer a much larger inventory, offer better and faster on-site, and provide expert help in buying, selling, consignment and design. Along with Mr. Jacobson, Mr. Greenfield oversees Allura’s on-site repair shop to ensure the highest quality work in the area.
