Travis Wilkinson is the owner and operator of Pinellas Tax, headquartered in Clearwater, Pinellas County, Florida.
When it comes to services that can affect a person’s wallet, there is nothing that takes the place of experience. Travis Wilkinson spent 15 years as a business consultant. Then, 25 years ago, Travis started Pinellas Tax helping people and small businesses navigate through the US tax codes and personal and business tax forms.
Travis was born in Kansas City, Missouri and grew up in Midland, Texas. He still follows the fortunes of his Kansas City Royals and Chiefs. After high school, Mr. Wilkinson server our country as a combat engineer in the Army.
After his service, Mr. Wilkinson earned bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Florida, (Go Gators!). He is a Certified Professional Bookkepper, a Certified Quickbooks Specialist, a Licensed Electronic Filer with the I.R.S., a Licensed Paid Tax Preparer with the I.R.S., and a State of Florida Notary Public.
Continuing his service to the public, Travis volunteers his expertise by allocating 10% of his work load to pro-bono cases for low income families and single mothers.
Business owners take risks and often work long, exhaustive hours to service their clients. There are freedoms in owning a business, but these freedoms come at a cost. Rarely acknowledged are business owners like Travis Wilkinson that employ people, accepting accountability ensuring their staff are paid continuously.
